Exploring natural cycles of life and death through fallen flowers, botanicals, and silk. Silk as the canvas, flowers as the paint, Nature as the artist, and water as the alchemist. Painting portraits of place and time.

Embodying a regenerative and ethical philosophy, each work inspires audiences to reconnect with Nature, see beauty in the imperfect subtleties, and remember our innate ability to work with the natural world instead of against it. A renaissance of ancient technologies — natural dyes, silk worms as fibre producers — as a refreshing antidote to the contemporary direction of technology that emphasises the artificial. Each work is unique and un-replicable, made solely with natural ethically-sourced materials.

Raw. Real. Life-supporting. Emergent. Soil to soil.
This is a rendering of regenerative futures through cloth.

A marriage of East and West, this practice pays homage to founder, Emma Chow’s, ancestral mixed-race heritage, blending Chinese and British materials and metaphors. Made in Southeast England by hand according to the seasons, free from any synthetic dyes or chemicals. Place-based commissions in other regions is available for special projects.
